Here is a chance to put our money where our mouth is…We often talk about the horrors of abortion on this blog, and we now have an opportunity to fight against it with more than words.
Options 360 Pregnancy Clinic is a pregnancy resource center with four locations around the Portland/Vancouver area (one of which is located right next a Planned Parenthood). The goal of the resource center is to equip pregnant women and offer them alternative options to abortion. They provide tons of great resources including ultrasounds that tend to convince mothers that their child is actually alive and worth keeping. They also have a program in which women can earn points by attending parenting classes and watching educational videos. The points can then be redeemed for diapers, clothes, and furniture, etc.

Unfortunately, the clinic has fallen upon hard times and needs to raise quite a bit of money before Thanksgiving in order to remain open. I think this is a great opportunity for the authors and readers of the blog to be proactive in the fight against abortion. Ya, the pregnancy resource center that is strategically placed right next to the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic is the one that is being closed down. This center has said that on an average day, four girls who were planning on getting abortions at the Planned Parenthood clinic decide to go into the pregnancy resource center instead and find out other options. It would be a shame if this center were to close. Everyone do what they can to help them out!
